Cape Henlopen - Delaware
Cape Henlopen lighthouse once stood aloft a shifting , sandy dune and was a popular destination for residents who would roll colored, hard-boiled eggs down the dunes on Easter Monday. After storms undermined the foundation and created a hazardous perch for the beacon, daring adventurers would pose for a picture beneath the teetering structure, tempting fate for a rare photograph. .
